You Will Learn

  1. Why are there barriers to embracing the natural dying process?
  2. Why don’t the dying want or need to eat or drink? Why does this cause problems?
  3. What are negative side effects of forcing oral or artificial nutrition/hydration on the dying?
  4. How do I have discussions about hydration and nutrition with loved ones and/or patients?
  5. What are the different types of advance directives?
  6. What are the advantages of doing advance care planning, even during young adulthood?

All 1795 workshops are interactive and participatory. Therefore, we require that attendees turn on their cameras.
